Angela Taylor

Founder and owner

I worked in a variety of sectors before finding my way to international education. I spent over two decades in the TV, public relations, and music industries and for more than 18 of those years, I was in television programme acquisitions. This meant working for a range of renowned channels such as Discovery, Living, Travel Channel and Teachers TV.

I loved what I was doing, especially helping to choose educational content for Teachers TV but I felt the overwhelming desire to make a bigger difference in people’s lives. My role involved sourcing and evaluating the documentary content for both Travel and Teachers TV channels and this knowledge and experience led me to make the choice to move into international education, student counselling, and the delivery of training solutions for overseas business clients.

Today I’m proud of the fact that we work with over 95 language schools and more than 80 universities here in the UK. We can also offer study abroad options at many more education and training institutions overseas, in Ireland, Canada, Spain, Australia, and other countries.

I’m equally proud of our track record of helping hundreds of delighted students and clients from around the world to fulfil their ambitions.

Abdullah

Abdullah Laroussi

A well-rounded team member, Abdullah has in-depth knowledge and IT skills from previous work experience. After studying Business Economics at university, combined with previous hands-on experience, he thrives in the education industry. Abdullah joined Atava as part of the Admissions team and now helps international students find suitable schools and universities in the UK. You are very welcome to submit an enquiry or application to him, and he will do his best to make your application process painless, and answer any of your queries!

Krupali Vora

Krupali works as a Marketing Executive for us. She has over 6 years of experience in the education & immigration industry. Krupali designs graphics, handles social media, improves SEO, and helps the admissions team whenever required! She also makes fun videos out on the street and is generally full of great ideas! She is a multitasker, smart working, keen to learn everything and an amazing human being. When free she enjoys watching Netflix, cooking delicious Indian food, and drawing. She has also recently started learning to dance salsa!
Yusuf

Yusuf Gungor

Yusuf, works in the Admissions Team here at Atava. He helps to process all the enquiries, checks qualifications, and makes course research and applications for our students. He enjoys playing around with computers during his spare time and is fascinated by aircraft. (He has a secret desire to learn how to fly!) He’s passionate about learning new things and is the person the team always ask whenever they need any technical help. He has a knack of understanding tech manuals and instructions! We all need people like this around, don’t we? He is also a very friendly individual who enjoys helping others, so if you have any questions or need help feel free to ask him at any time

Ibtihal Masmoudi

A passionate and seasoned professional, Ibtihal holds a degree in Digital Marketing and has almost 8 years of experience guiding and recruiting international students. She has extensive expertise in managing admissions processes, devising impactful recruitment strategies, and fostering global relationships with educational institutions. Committed to championing diversity, Ibtihal takes pride in offering exceptional support to international students pursuing educational opportunities. Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, and with a love for travel, she is eager to leverage her digital marketing skills in a fulfilling role as Head of Admissions for international students at Atava
Sofien

In memory of Sofien Abidi

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague and friend, Sofien Abidi, who tragically lost his life in a car accident in October. Sofien joined the Atava team in January 2024 as an Operations Coordinator, quickly becoming a valued part of our team. Nothing was too much trouble and his attention to detail and excellent reporting skills contributed greatly to Atava’s smooth running. Known for his friendly can-do attitude, warmth, dedication, and professionalism, Sofien made a lasting impact on all who worked with him. His commitment to supporting our students and his kindness toward his colleagues was greatly appreciated. He always said we were like a second family and the feeling was mutual – we will miss him enormously. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, his children, friends and loved ones during this sad time.
